Sexual harassment in the mainstream- THIS Is where all the dysfunction comes from
Holy shit, one after another these powerful dudes are being outted for sexual harassment
I never really put much thought into this until recently, it was always my understanding that essentially being shy or underdeveloped as person/man was the cause of women’s sexual barriers (aka a bitch shield mentality) but DAMN it’s these creeps that are leaving the scars.
What’s going on here, why are these dudes acting like this? It’s definitely important to understand and steer clear from this behavior.
Simply put I think it’s an effect of being out of touch with their own sexuality so they are hung up drooling over girls all day instead of channeling that energy into an experience for both of them. It’s also the effect of our society, excessive porn/social media some men just carry this sexual tension around and forget that real women can’t provide that instant gratification you get online. Im sure this has been going on well before the digital age though.
I’m speaking of Matt Lauer level harassment here not Harvey Weinstein raping
Yes you're correct there's a LOT of male dysfunction going on regarding women. And yes women do become "damaged" from it. But they follow the money, they compromise themselves for the money, they're unhappy for the money. Then they come back and attempt to dog all men for it. There's a certain lack of taking responsibility and crying victim instead that's keeps the whole thing going. They could very easily leave before anything "bad" happens. They don't. lol
What are the details on the Matt Laurie harassment claims?
Totally. The biggest pervs I know are married men.
I want to qualify that statement, because obviously I'm not being fair to ladies in all circumstances. I mean, getting mad at a cowoker and "reprimanding" her, because he had her follow him into an office dropped his pants and she wouldn't blow him, is clearly crossing a line.
But this other story where he summoned a coworker into his office, locked the door and asked her to unbutton her blouse, which she did (strong consent) at which point he proceeded to bend her over a chair pull her pants down and fuck her, wherein.. she passes out (allegedly) and comes to on the floor of his office? What is she trying to imply happened? I don't get it. That women are somehow so fragile that consensual sex with a coworker was enough to knock her out and absolve her of all responsibility regarding the situation she found herself in?
Agreed. Retarded
Oh shit, that's quite a problem too! I wasn't aware of that office story she obviously was compliant about the situation.
How about guys like Al Franken who are excessively "groping" and making mild rather chodey sexual advances. Whats up with that? Jon do you train guys like this?...starting out I would never even think about touching like that unless I had validation to do so, I never put much thought into the dudes on the overtly creepy end of the spectrum.
Just trying to piece it together because it's definitely a somewhat new phenomenon. I was told by a professor recently that in cultures such as the French there wasn't even a word/phrase for "sexual harassment" until the last decade of immense globalization.
Because rape itself was so fucking prevalent it was seen as normal up till not too long ago
Oh shit :/
