2 weekends ago or so, i came across these 2 French foreign exchange chicks. Talked for 5 mins, nothing special happened. I exchanged info with one of them and we parted ways. I called HBFrench a couple of days after that in the afternoon, forgot what went on but enough for me to tell she was down to hang out. i eventually set up a date that evening. She texted me about 15 mins after our convo saying she answered too fast, that we should postpone because something came up with her host family. I agreed.

ME: Totally random but i had croissants earlier and it reminded me of you haha ;) Comment vas-tu? (How are you feeling?)
HER: ^^. Bien et toi? (Good and you?) I wanted to ask you what are you doing on Saturday?
ME: I'm feeling great, improving my French while im at work. I may have a buddy who knows parties call me, if that's the case you should come
HER: That's good ;). Yes that would be nice :). Normally i'm going to IV with Cynthia and 2 other girls....
ME: Alright I will update you on what's going on Saturday night and we'll go on a super fun adventure girl ;)
HER: That's work for me! :D
==== It's Saturday afternoon i get a text from her
HER: I'm in LA i will arrive at SB around 9 I think. Cynthia and her roomates are in Vegas because a friend of them invited them. But we can still see each other if you want! I don't have a lot of battery so maybe i will answer only at 9
==== 9:30 i called and left a VM.... and texted her 10 mins later, couldn't keep my hands out the jar :P
ME: Yeah text me. My calling signal is bad but we're going to have fun tonight :)
HER: Okay. I have to dress and try to take the bus of 22:30 :)
ME: Ah ok... Well wear somehting cute ;) I'll see you soon for an amazing night
HER: I made a mistake the bus is at 23:00. Do you think is worth that I come? And i was thinking i have nowhere to sleep (Awwww shiet... pass that shit test -.-)
ME: You're always welcome to my place :) (Lies!!! my cousin will tenderize me and break me to bacon bits in the morning ha!)
HER: There is too many people for the bus we can't get in.
ME: :/ I would pick you up but i had a bit too much alcohol. Let's postpone it ok?

HER: Yes :) How was you're night?
ME: Aside from people stepping on my toes while dancing, it was really amazing :) I'm sorry you couldn't make it out :P (that reframe haha)
HER: ^^. At least i could relax after my day. Next time I will come early..
ME: Yeah i would imagine you had a lot of fun in LA. You have to tell me about your adventures haha
HER: In fact it was more rude than "fun" day ^^. But if I told you you will laugh X). But we should eat together next time before. It's more simple to take the bus at 7pm than 9pm, too many people
ME: Yes you're right, sometimes i get off work late and race people to the bus. You live downtown?
HER: Yep on ****** st. Where are you working?
ME: I work at GUESS. Maybe you shopped there, when we get French costumers i go :D
HER: Normal. No I haven't been at GUESS. I don't even have an idea of where is the shop ^^. In ***?? But you speak French very well?
ME: Yes in ***, I may show you there. My French needs a bit more work :P
HER: ^^. I will help you to improve it!
ME: Sounds like a plan ;) I'll get my beauty sleep now... LONG day tomorrow. I'll talk to you later :)

I guess all i have to do now is occasionally send her texts to let her know i'm still there, until we meet on Saturday.

Yep you're good. Only problem I could foresee is not really something you could prevent- which is her being so spontaneous and flexible in her schedule that she gets stuck doing something else. I think you're good just keep doing the dew

HER: I am at a friend house in IV (she's basically in the neighborhood)
ME: Alright i'll call you in 2 mins. Pick up :)
So i called her, turned out that she was watching Harry Potter, all tired and high. She mentioned she had to catch the 10PM bus or she'll be locked outside or something. Like it wasn't even worth it trying to go over, and her attempting to stay at my place is not going to work on week days :P
I asked her when she'll be coming back, she replied saying she'll text me.
HER: Hi! Why do you have a long day today?
