Starting Blog, Want Suggestions
Hey guys I have had the desire for a while to start a blog and show the world what great information I have to share, but don't know where to start. I feel that many guys on this forum are very savy with this and could give open suggestions/advice on how I can successfully achieve this.
Every little piece of information counts
It's really hard to get organic traffic off google these days. Like super fucking hard.
I built up my site off organic traffic a few years ago. But if I had to start from scratch, i wouldn't be able to do it the same way.
It can be done, but yea it's hard. Organic traffic wise just ignore all the link building stuff out there and focus on content. Like you literally will need 100+ posts to begin to really see the snowball effect. Google likes consistency so you'll want to post at least 2 times per week which will bring you more than 100 posts in a year.
I have a blog with around 50 posts and I think I average around 300 visits per day. It's not that much but it's a very niche topic so it's not bad. I am also not that consistent, I've had it for 3 years lol. And like 10 of those posts went up in the past couple of months lol. But it's only going to grow as I begin to expand my article topics into the bigger niches. So yea just start small and grow it over time.
Throw up a simple Wordpress blog and start writing content. You HAVE to start writing. You can't start thinking about writing and think you're going to jump up to the finish line with accolades and groupie sluts.
You could start writing a journal on here, start writing your thoughts on it.. diary, etc. Make it unique. Find your "voice"
The content creation video posted a few pages ago was mint. Summed up it basically is mw's above post. Start writing. Even if it's shit. I'm just getting into this and kept trying to skip ahead a few steps. This site and sounds like batemans both took like what guys? 2 years to get where it's at? But they both have kickass sites cause they did it up right. Rome wasn't built in a day
but yeah, organic traffic from Google ain't so hawt no more? I'm lining a couple artists I know to be featured on my site and see if I can drive traffic/revenue that way. Just this past week I quickly got 1000 followers on insta by posting up some of my shitty art which I'll eventually drive to my site.
Bateman.. If you can wife up those hunnies you should put your site on their tinder/insta/fb. Guys would click those links like there is no tomorrow
ive been planning on writing a blog mainly on health and nutrition, with a funny flare behind it with memes and such. A lot of bodybuilding as well, and including healthy options at restaurants in nyc. This way when people go out with friends..they dont feel uncomfortable going out with them to a completely shit restaurant and feeling guilty eating there, or starving themselves the whole way through.
Any suggestions on names for a domain or how you feel about my idea.
Do you like an bodybuilding memes or such? What's your idea/avatar of success in this area?
Im not self reliant on the memes, since they could be a easy way out of trying to be funny.
I mainly wanted to do this for fun first, pure self enjoyment. I really like the idea of putting my information that I find HIGHLY valuable and giving it to the world...cause isnt this what its all about?
If I could get a lot of traffic into the website, that would be my idea of success in this area. I wouldn't need to sell anything. Purely knowing that people are seeing what I have created would be great.
Ok so you want a serious name? Like.. seriousfitness.com or IdonthaveasenseofhumorwhenIlift.com
those aren't bad.. how about squatonbuttplugs.com?
Now you're thinking!
So what's your unique perspective on this whole thing? What are some bullet points that make what you are and what you do a personal tingle factor? How would someone else describe you? What about that cougar that gave you head a couple weeks ago.. what would she say about you.
