Street bikes anyone?
I plan on getting myself a crotch rocket when I turn 18, I'm sure at least one of you bad ass's have some experience with them.
What's a good starter bike? keep in mind I want to be able to rip the highway with ease
What is the best bang for your buck out there? I'm looking to spend around 3500 on something used
I've looked at ninja 650R's, Honda cbr500's, and Suzuki gsxr 600's... Is this too much bike for a beginner? I am pretty good on dirtbikes around 300cc
I got a CBR 600. Ride that whore pretty much every day. You want to think about things like spine breakage factor, that will keep you from riding as much. Whereas gsxr's have their grips LOWER than the thingie.. (can't remember the name right now) mine are actually higher, so it's a more comfortable ride. I also have a great mechanic, bought one that was "totaled" for $1200 and she runs perfect. Don't rip on the freeway unless you plan on dying. There is plenty to do without killing yourself
