If anything you're going too slow. With online I usually don't even go for the number until after I've already pitched the date. The reason being a lot of guys are bullshitters who become texting buddies with the girl and never ask her out. So pitching the meetup first (right after they pass your qualifier) eliminates you from that category(also screens out the time wasting girls) and gives you a good reason to exchange numbers. The number is mostly a logistical tool.

You don't lose points for going for the meetup too early as long as you've established some kind of value. Sometimes it'll provoke a shit test which just strengthens your game.

I completely agree with mpgamer. The goal is to get her out, not get her number to text. You seed the idea about what your going to do together, then you casually get her number so you 'don't have to keep checking this app' or something like that and so you guys can set up the details of your date.

I find she'll sometimes even give you her number if you try and just set up the date through tinder without you asking.

I totally think it's is possible either way, the Tinder LR on the front page of the forum seeds the meet up first.

I've just seen and heard Manwhore and Bateman get the number first when doing online game. I think that tinder actually sucks, it barely works on my phone, and that it would mean more to seed the meet up over text.

Like to hear Manwhore's opinion on this. I will start trying the meet up first cuz I trust you guys <3

Of course it's possible either way. That'd be ignorant to say otherwise. I've done it both ways. I prefer pitching the meetup first because I've gotten more consisent results in the long run with it. It also switches your focus away from the number and on to what is important - the actual meetup. Which is exactly where you said you were fumbling.

Just use the time you'd normally use to overqualify and pitch the meetup instead. Same amount of time spent before Tinder crashes on you.

Yeah you can do either. The issue here isn't whether you go for the number before or after, just the fact you did it in a pretty fucking awful fashion. 

Also agree that ofcourse you can do both and I have done both. I think one thing that mpgamer brought up is important, is that pitching the meetup first sort of shows her what this interaction is about and your not just going to be texting buddies.
