Hi guys,

it's my first post here ;) I just found this on facebook and I found it quite good:
You write your message and she doesn't respond. My next message to her is:

Hey, when I text somebody and they don't text back... I automatically assume they fainted from overexcitement.... Are you ok?

What do you think about it and do you have other texts for such situations?

Cheers Thomas from Germany ;)

Any responses? To me it seems a bit lengthy, but it could work.

Personally- I choose to
Personally- I choose to ignore the fact that she didn't respond.

Most likely she was busy, at work, in the shower, running to catch a subway- maybe even sleeping and then just got caught up with life and didn't get a chance to text you back.

If you bring up the fact that she didn't text you back, you're basically framing the situation against you, when in reality you don't even know if that's the case. You're just setting the frame that you took it personally and don't understand that people have lives. (Not saying this is you but this is kind of the frame you are setting)

Anyway- I'm not saying it's bad or wrong to do what you did but just saying it's not what I do... Also- a lot of this is because I don't really care if they don't respond. Doesn't mean much to me.

I either won't respond for a while or I'll just send another text the next day/night as if nothing happened.

Add value, say something funny/cool that you're doing//did... just be engaging and fun

no unfortunately I'm not the real shaun-fking-deeb. If I were him, I'd just be WAFFLE CRUSHING all day long ;) and posting stuff on 2+2.
I just like how his name sounds. Yeah was on 2+2 a lot, too.

Online poker is completely
Online poker is completely different now though

The micro limits are dominated by fuckin asians/indians who make their living there and don't care/need to move up... meaning there isn't the same upward flow of money/skill- used to be able to clean up at these tables just playing tight/aggressive but it's completely changed now. Especially with black friday

I was one of those tight/agg
I was one of those tight/agg nits, playing 24 tables on pokerstars. Played 50NL&100NL for a living 2008-black friday. It was nice waking up late and making money in my underwear haha. Fuck you DOJ. I might move to Vegas once they get online poker going because playing live is a fucking grind.

haha yeah if you live in
haha yeah if you live in vegas and play online- it's still prob possible to make a living playing enough tables at 50, cause the rent is super cheap there. So even if you're making like 12-15/hr you're prob good as long as you're playing enough hours.

I was profitable but not by enough to actually make money at it and it was way too boring for me.

Found a sweet free poker game at a bar near my place on tuesdays though that I've been hitting up- you win bar tabs... so I have like 150 free "bar-dollars" now. My goal is to keep raking them in then at the end of the year just throw a HUGE blowout party for like 50 people and hand out free dollars so all the drinks are free for everyone.
