What are the most important "masculine factors" that contribute to a man's sexual "success" with women?
Gimme your thoughts.
Straight from my coaching notes :)
1. Leadership (Of yourself & others)
2. Dominance
3. Being of High Value
I listed ambition (which is a derivative of testosterone), and self-reliance/independence. I think those are the basis for everything.
Those three you listed are derivatives of ambition, e.g. the will to go after things. And self-reliance is the basis for inner game
That's super interesting. I almost would've never listed those two. Ofcourse, I'm aware of them but they're in the backdrop of my mind. I would credit that to most gamey stuff around the net talking about super masculine and alpha behaviors of "offering value" or "dominating the girl in the bedroom" which are super important in it of itself.
Just thought it was funny. Maybe its cause some of us are so naturally ambitious cause our whole lives we've kinda ate dirt?
But now that I think of it, maybe we think we're ambitious as a way to justify current identities or inaction. There's a wholenother level to ambition I suppose...

If I can jump off topic for a second: I've personally seen waaaay more examples of people who've had relatively easy lives with good families and money ride the upward spiral and become ambitious. Most people I've seen with shit lives end up with shit goals and aspirations, if they have any.
I've always believed that ambition is 90% belief in someone's own ability to achieve a goal, along with their minds focusing on the positive aspects of the goal rather than the arduous bullshit of actually doing it.
Fair point.
What I meant by "us" was people in the self-development headspace.
People in game were "losers" at one point, or people interested in hardcore fitness were "fat" or "bullied" etc. I see your point though!!
^And I'm making a generalization

Interesting. Example? This is nurture vs. nature in effect. And it's why you can call bullshit on pretty much every sliver of GOP rhetoric.
As far as what the focus of ambition is, I'm more focusing on the arduousness of something than the positive aspects of it, but honestly we're just arguing syntax at that point I think you probably understand what I mean.

When you say hardcore fitness, are you talking about normal guys who have fitness as a strong hobby, or dudes who compete in competitions and try to be the absolute best? I have no face-to-face experience with best-in-the-world types and I can't really speak on them without talking out of my ass. So if THAT is the level of ambition we're talking about here, I'm not qualified to speak on what creates that.
And I'm not even talking about people on this forum because that's another can of worms entirely.

I'm talking about normal guys we all know with relatively successful parents: mom's an accountant, dad teaches at a community college, a nice house, there's no stress because they have money, kid gets into sports, sister is ludicrously hot, gets good grades, has cool friends, gets laid, gets girlfriends, goes to a state university, gets a good job, and finally ends up doing some cool things in the world.
Does something inevitably go wrong with a lot of these types and they crumble like a house of cards built on wet sand? Yes, but they have a much higher chance of staying up than your average poor kid.

Right, you're talking about focusing on the next step and I'm talking about not thinking about the procrastination inducing aspects of the next step.
it seems dominance and leadership, which are kinda linked, it seems men were meant to grow in life more than women do, because men benefit more than women do when it comes to improving their dating life what i've observed
