Toronto as the location of

Toronto as the location of this debate off the bat wasn’t in Bannon’s favor. Its a leftist city. A majority were against him and even when he spoke they laughed or boo’d him. I’m surprised that the vote ended up being very close as it was in the end, I didn’t think Bannon was fighting back effectively but he was more civil than his opponent.

Also I totally despise the way the left argues. Its textbook shittiness across the board. No real facts but just comedic insults and passive aggressiveness. Really irritating. Funny cause that’s how the media operates as well.

I can’t speak much about Trump. He did renegotiate NAFTA and is putting Nato in hot water to step up. But fuck man I don’t know. There’s so much bullshit out there.

I most certainly don’t agree with anything liberal. So much feel good nonsense

Ok did you pay attention to the "results" from the beginning versus the end?

Yup. 28% in favor and then

Yup.

28% in favor and then 57% in favor at the end. He won the debate. i’m just shocked because it didnt look like it based off the actual debate and how the crowd boo’d and laughed at Bannon David had a bunch of nice one liners and that was all but it seemed like he was going to win.

I do think Bannon made a lot more sense personally.

I guess that just reinforces how much the current Democratic party and liberal ideas failed us. People want change. Obama wasn’t change. He just capitalized off of all the hate from Bush. I think a lot of fear mongering the left does prevents people who actually want change and are on the fence about things from speaking out. It doesnt scare them away from voting though. Thats exactly what we saw in the 2016 election and even in this debate.

a lot of people inwardly resonate with the populist ideals.

One thing I noticed (learned

One thing I noticed (learned this from a comedian) is that when crowds applaud they are logically showing support, almost virtue signalling that they agree with the speaker. Otherwise, when the audience laughs and sneers at Bannon, he is at least evoking genuine reactions from them and at best hitting on some truth. He was cool as a cucumber too, didn't phase him at all he is used to people not agreeing with him and then winning them over. Was my first time seeing Bannon in long form unedited, great speaker

Revisiting this because I

Revisiting this because I want to get that juicy truth bomb MW will drop. I watched it again and more of Banon’s stuff and really started to enjoy him. The dude drops facts and hardcore truths.

The people don’t want another politician. They want a showman. Trump is a master of that and has been his entire life. Reading his book “Art of the Deal” in which he mentions back in the 80s that ‘noise’ no matter how its perceived, is great publicity. You have to be larger than life.

Both sides of the political spectrum attack him and call him an idiot but the dude is far from. He’s running this shit. He throws all kinds of crazy shit out there and watches as hoards of people eat at it. All the while he sits back and puppeteers it. People are fooled into thinking they’re plugged out of the system and see through the Trump Sherade. Those are the people that don’t see through anything.

His politics is aimed at the little guy (colored or not), and is bringing back nationalism which everyone so desperately wants. The people want to be on the winning team. No more shipping our jobs away, no more dishonesty from our government, checking the media in its lies, literally, Make America Great Again.

All the shit talking is just that, shit talking, distractions, bait etc.

That had nothing to do with this debate lol but I’m throwing this shit out there so yall can add and contest.

Ah ha! I THINK I GOT IT The

Ah ha! I THINK I GOT IT

The motion was if populism or liberalism is the future. The majority was in favor of liberalism but after the debate the majority were in favor of populism.

Whether you like Trump or not, he represents populist ideals. The debate wasn’t about Trump as much as David tried to make it about him. That’s where he lost. He was so gung ho against Trump cause Bannon was his advisor and he missed the mark. Liberal values aren’t the future. The people want real change and a government that cares about “the people”, not marginalizing us for people of color, immigrants, and outsourcing us. Its the cold hard truth that our government in Obama’s, Bush and Clinton’s days were all about the minorities and immigrants. We’ve done liberal values and look where we are. Woohoo transgender rights but what about my fucking taxes and wage.

Trump is just setting the stage for populism. No current democrat or republican will beat him in 2020. Too white washed, weak, and unrepresenting of our current socio-economic climate.
