I've always had a major
I've always had a major sleeping issue. Sometimes when I was younger I'd be wide awake in the middle of the night and start doing this same thing. I'd start screaming and throwing my body around. It would always put me right to sleep. I was always conditioned to think this behavior is bad, it is the same concept of punching a pillow when you're mad. Now I see that it can actually help you relax, and is appropiate and natural.
