I've seen 5 episodes so far and it's amazing.

really awesome to watch the evolution of Rust Cohle and how he can put himself in different scenarios and change his emotional tenor (crash, taxman, etc.) but still act through his own intentions as a dominant male figure. It's particularly interesting because we all have different "sides" to ourselves that we act through given a situation. Whether it be at work at a party, at a drug deal, etc. The self is always in flux, as Jeffy would say.
