Your take on this
It didn't post at first something to do with the https vs http in the url.
I watched about 10 seconds of it it's just typical Bible thumping "no sex before marriage". The chick said "God created sex for one purpose only and that is lifelong committment." That's bullshit that's only her opinion. Jesus never said that
A christian lady in her late 70s or 80s told me when she was younger, her and other girls used to go to church to have a chance to meet guys. If a girl talks about no sex before marriage it's bullshit most of the time IME
^ Absolutely.
Uhhh. Well. We have this thing called science... specifically evolutionary biology. We know as a fact that the only critters who have sex are those that are vulnerable to diseases and parasites. Sex is a necessity in order to randomize the "cellular locks" in order to ensure the survival of the species. For example, some of us are more susceptible to certain diseases than others. Without fail, every biological organism that is a parasite is a hermaphrodite. It can procreate with itself.
Have you ever had a chick sniff you like she was snorting a line and say, "GAWD I love your smell!" I have haha... This is one reason why females have that weird thing about a male's scent (pheramones.) If they are too genetically similar his smell will be repulsive to her.
If "God made sex" he did it because he's a bastard and also made tapeworms and smallpox.
Such tender cynicism at a young age
I'm a stoic... It is what it is. But I agree, this woman is preaching to a friendly crowd. She would get REAMED in front of an audience that wasn't children.
That's not stoicism. There are plenty of guys trying to rationalize away their lack of results, disqualifying sex in their minds, in your case even mutilating it, to not have to face their inadequacies. You've got a problem with affection. You do not deserve the title of stoic kiddo.
Quite honestly, I myself was raised in a pretty hardcore catholic family, (Go to mass at 5AM every day kind of hardcore) with some pretty horrible views and attitudes toward women that were based on irrational beliefs like "God made sex." Even looking at a girl and feeling attraction was a mortal sin. I had my "good little virgin girl" I was supposed to marry. You can guess how that ended up. Was SUPER judgemental toward women. I believed that a woman that had sex outside of marriage was dirty.
If anything, Manwhore, your advice helped me a shitton. The concept of "sex" has evolved into much more of an altruistic thing. Rather than the needy, self-gratifying behavior that it was. The sex with that chick from that post has VASTLY improved.
Honestly man I just don't get what point you're trying to make. You trying to say that the woman has a point? That she's wrong, but consider this stuff about STDs? Sex is bad or a cruel joke because of diseases? And now you're out here talking about your Catholic background?
You aren't communicating clearly and it's making you look bad.
^^Yeah sorry. I'm challenging her assertion that "God made sex." There's a "community book" on Evolutionary Biology called The Red Queen that talks about the scientific study of why sex exists. One reason is, It's because your offspring will have to be able to fight off new strains of infection. I basically gave you the quick synopsis above.
This talk appears to be being given to a catholic school. Teaching catholic doctrines. They teach things like, "God made sex" and attach a lot of fear, guilt and blame to it. And it's like, uuhhh I don't know about that. Guess the next thing you're gonna say is God made the world 6000 years ago. (Not based on fact.)
Personally I had to undo a lot of the wacky beliefs around sex, that I was indoctrinated with. They're just not rational and unworkable in the modern age.
Reminds me college. A lot of the attractive and cool but religious people were all into the whole no sex until marriage thing freshmen year, I think most of them gave up by their junior year lol.
One of the things I think is sad, is people getting married solely because they are horny and just wanna have sex. Then potentially leading miserable lives together, because they find out they don't really love the other person, but can't divorce or separate. Then their kids grow up learning a fucked up example of how to relate to the opposite sex. I eventually DO want to get married, but for the right reasons, not because I'm looking for a co-dependant to gratify my needs.
Everything you've brought up is very basic stuff as far as the community's understanding of evolutionary psychology and sexual behaviorialism. Uber basic. Red Queen can suck a dick. So can the basic rebuttals of Catholic doctrine. We've been over that shit for years now. Do not allow that to tarnish your desire to seek greater understanding, truth and experience with women. "Stoicism" in this case is a cop-out
What I'm getting at here (eventually) is: in my experience, you can't be really good, unless you've also been really bad.
Which ironically, in the Catholic Church, most of their iconic "role-models" started off as not very good people... Something they seem to forget. Maybe that's a metaphor for being good with women too?
You have to really suck before you can be really good?
As much as you would like to "preach" how to be good at game, it usually only resonates with those guys who have had really BAD experiences. I myself got into "game" because a woman broke my heart and I realized I sucked and wanted to be better... and am humble enough to ask about something I percieve is a serious "affection" problem.
As far as the OP goes, perhaps the reason this woman gravitates toward this kind of thing is because she's been really "bad." I dunno. Can't say...
My humble advice is to accept where she's at... maybe even guide her through it. Something some of us can't seem to do on this forum without being contemptuous.
I had two girlfriends when I was four. They tried to split me up but I liked it better when they shared me. ;) I grew up surrounded by women, pretty sure I've never had a girlfriend cheat on me. Definitely been through horrendous heart-wrenching experiences with women, but I've never let it damage my views of them. I simply know they've got a dragon bitch side, it's a part of life.
The notion that only guys with bad experiences are drawn to game is a complete fallacy. Not blaming you for it it's a rather common misconception, but it's simply not true

True, great point.
