Has anyone hit up the keto diet?
I'm hooked on phonics- shit makes me so clear headed and grounded.
Been on it for about 2 months now. Anyone else?
Not a true keto, no. However there are some definite similarities. I’m very very low carb, high protein / medium fat diet. Plus my supplementation is clean as a white t. Combination of this diet, 6 days a week in the gym and supps, my head is crystal clear. Geared around lifting / working out, but a few things I take are also deliberately in there to help against anxiety / stress and this give me a clear head.
-Magnesium: IMO best supplement you can ever take. 46% of Americans are deficient
-Green tea extract: tons of health benefits, but also a kick to get shit done
plus all the general basics, multi, fish oil, etc
Is that all the supps? Hit me with a list Ima get that shit today
I love it dude your on your game. I haven't gone to the gym in like 3 months lmfao just been eating clean
gonna ramp up the gym this month. Going today and at least 2 other times this week
I was on it for a year straight.
Was good until I found my triglycerides were
Way up. Keto is dangerous. Only to be used
when you wanna melt fat off fast but then quickly
Segway into a balanced, Whole Foods diet.
As a long term thing, very bad. If you want clear and balance head take up yoga. Keto is not the way.
You’re better off eating whatever you want but working out extremely hard than eating Keto.
Oh dang. Thanks for the heads up.
Diet is 70% of it, but staying in some sort of a steady gym cadence is really important.
I can can give you a breakdown of the gym supps I take, but the stuff below is just general health / wellness.
-A good multivitamin: one a days kind of blow as your body can’t process all that at once. Either get a time release multi or get one you take 2-3 times a day. That alone will bring up a ton of your vitamin levels that you never knew were lacking
-Fish Oil: every morning. Great for a million reasons, hard to pick just one. Really helps with inflammation of any kind though. When your muscles are inflamed so is your mind
-Magnesium: most under appreciated sup. 50% of Americans are deficient (most don’t know). Leads to additional stress, anxiety, etc. Magnesium does a lot, but most notably can help regulate free flowing testosterone and estrogen in the body. I take one of these daily and noticed a big difference. It helps a ton with sleep as well, I take it at night
-Green tea extract: most healthy boost you can buy. I take one with breakfast and 1 before my workout. Very small amount of caffeine, so I still drink a coffee, but enough to give you a little kick
the only other “essential” I would say is if you live in a place that does not get the sun a lot, take a vitamin D supplement as well.
if you are covering those you are pretty much hitting the best basics. If you want advice on workout stuff though lemme know

fuck that is huge man. Chronic inflammation is no good. Been looking on how to handle that lol. I’m on an immune system boost stack cuz I was getting sick af all the time in Vegas. Buying these asap.
OmegaXL is awesome for infammation. It’s really for arthritis but it’s not prescription and works for inflammation like crazy.

what were your results after a year?
Pounds lost?
hows you feel?
muscle gained?
curious. That's a long time to be in Ketosis
I lost 50lbs
I got more ripped
I felt like shit for 2 months then normal after.
Keto making you feel good is likely placebo
Anyone looking to speed up their metabolism and get more lean/shredded?
Did not realize that about magnesium.
Yeah and magnetism and zinc are both lost thru ejaculation.
This is why I’m nofap and only bust a nut with women, but hardly that because I prefer to just hold it in tantrically, make them cum and just save up my essence. Unless she’s really hot and down to swallow (like verbally says it) I’m not going to waste magnesium, zinc nor prana/chi.
Giving girls cum actually cost you nutrients and life force. I GLOW when I don’t cum. Fuck some bitch to ejacualrion and it’s takes 3 days to get a semblance of my aura back.

Yee
Anyone looking to speed up their metabolism and get more lean/shredded?.
Uh Yuhh bro
Do you fellers engage in any sort of fitness regime that includes martial arts training?
Muay thai and western boxing. This sounds like it's gonna be good.
Nope.
Been doing BJJ and Wrestling for 3+months now on top of hitting the weights and cardio
So Slick? A stand alone magnesium supplement will do? I hear ppl recommend you take magnesium w calcium and zinc for maximum absorption or some shit?

yeah, they’re not wrong. However, zinc (and usually calcium) are both found in almost all multivitamins, so you don’t really need a separate supplement. Just take a good multi.. either time release or one where you pop 2-3 a day
but yes, stand-alone Magnesium will do it. Take it before bed, males over 25 should buy the 300-400mg size and pop one, yer good to go
Damn it! Magnesium citrate or oxide?
Damn it! Magnesium citrate or oxide?
Ha, fug if I know. The shit in the green bottle at cvs, lol
Check your bottle dawg lol my store has me conflicted.
Oxide
You guys have to get chelated magnesium/zinc.
Magnesium glycinate is very absorbable.
So what's the deal with magnesium? I thought zinc was the top male supplement.
So this is what I take religiously, sometimes multiple times a day, to keep an extra 5-6 lbs of leanness. Which means if you hit the gym regularly with a bit of cardio and steam room, you will get fucking lean. Almost like watching it melt off. OR.. you can drink more and still stay quite lean ;)
DHEA (available at Wal-mart 100-200 mg w/ each meal)
chromium picolinate
a probiotic (doesn't really matter- or maybe I'm not knowledgeable enough on them but I just grab one)
cayenne (natural powerful thermogenic - 1 a day)
There's a few more like tumeric, l-carnetine and some I forget but I've noticed those above work best for me.
Also.. ALWAYS take milk thistle if you're going to drink. It's a powerful supplement for your liver in processing alcohol "safely".
Whashu know about western boxing?
Muay thai and western boxing. This sounds like it's gonna be good.
I know a lil bit

yeah man, it’s not really an “or”.. more of an “and”. Zinc is amazing, but if you’re taking a good multivitamin and a semi balanced diet, you are getting the necessary zinc. The same can’t be said for magnesium. Even with a multivitamin and a good diet you are high likely to NOT be getting enough. In many cases even healthy people are seriously below even a below average level in their diet.
Next time you guys get a physical, ask your doc how your blood work comes back, chances are they will tell you you have low magnesium. In my case, my doc didn’t even wait for lab work, he just straight up said it’s likely you are (like most Americans)... so take a supplement
But what does it do?
Damn, everyone is talking about magnesium now! I actually have an amazing magnesium supplement that I can suggest, a friend of mine that's a Naturopath and MD developed it. It is one of the only pico-ionic dietary magnesiums on the market (MgCl). Most Mg supps are under 50% absorbed and the rest is flushed through the GI tract causing a laxative effect, this product is 99% absorbed at the cellular level with no laxative effect (unless you overdose heavily).
She actually wrote an entire book on magnesium, I'll give you guys a brief summary. Magnesium is one of the nutrients hardest hit by soil nutrient depletion (acid rain, rising CO2 emissions, overfarming, etc). This is a huge problem because Mg is a co-factor in 6 steps of the Krebs cycle, this mean far less ATP production in those with a Mg deficiency. Less ATP, less energy. It also is found in 700 enzymatic reactions in the body. Furthermore, the American diet is WAY too high in calcium, as we fortify our foods with it. The ratio between Mg and Ca is very significant for heart health, as Mg is a calcium channel blocker. Long story short, too much calcium without enough magnesium causes heart arrythmia due to involuntary contractions. ALSO, the flouride added to our water binds to magnesium in the body and zaps away free magnesium which further inflames the deficiency.
On a more practical level for a healthy population like us, magnesium is a great way to manage tension in the eyes and headaches due to frequent computer and smart phone use. It also is effective in avoiding muscle cramps and reducing inflammation by clearing lactic acid. Like I said earlier, it will regulate the contraction mechanism of calcium. I will link a short article about a football coach that gave his players calcium supplements on a hot day which lead to several of his players passing out, when he really should have been giving them magnesium. Oh yeah, I also think that it enhances orgasms haha. On the cognitive side of things, magnesium is directly related to seratonin production and a good sleep aid. It is hands down the best supplement I have ever taken for getting to sleep and staying asleep, better than melatonin. Helps a hangover too!
Okay, enough rambling on my end, I think I gave Jihad this spiel a few months back. I will link everything for ya'll below. If you try out the supplement please keep me updated, she's a friend of mine and I've been thinking about doing a health blog and hosting some of her products, I do think they are very fucking cool. I've been taking this product with water and added sea salt for over a year now and it's actually a kick ass product.

Just checked out the book. The recommendations for the best products are pico-ionic magnesium (MgCl), Natural Calm's Magnesium Citrate Powder, and Epson salts baths.
Jihad sticks to peanut butter :p
Hahhaha yeah i totally forgot about this.
Yeah i've been using peanut butter as my source of magnesium for a LOONG time now and its helped sleep tremendously. Lol can't believe i forgot to mention this.
Take 1tbs before bed and you wake up with absolutely 0 sleep fog. You literally jolt out of bed in the morning. Fucking rocks. And its attributed to the magnesium content in peanut butter. The calories are a downfall though :(

peanut butter before bed? Shiiit. Gotta hit that casein protein before bed, delicious and slow digesting

Oh ya protein fluff is the shit
Oh WHAT? I thought I was gonna get some new upgraded powers out of this shit. Dammit! I been eating pb&j's regularly for years now guess I'm already good
For an athlete, you need around 6-10 mg/kg/day so that's around 500 mg on the low end for a 180 lbs person. You definitely can't get that from from just eating peanut butter, unless you eat 90% of the jar and have your dog lick off the rest ;)
If you're keto'ing this number needs to be higher, I don't really know why lol but I believe your kidney's begin flushing more nutrients due to the drop in carbs.
It's funny to see how some of the topics shift discussion and would need a second title or a tag.
Keto:
I have friends doing it successfully for a longer period of time, but it mostly recommended for certain periods. It's often used for healing purposes. It's a very powerful diet but not one to just play with and not do it right. I'd get some expert help. My buddy had a coach via WhatsApp and was checking his blood religiously when started.
Magnesium:
I think my intake by food is about half of that Meow, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
There are several studies with Magnesium that convinced me to get a supplement.
What stood out to me:
It has a big effect on Vitamin D absorption and it's impact on the risk of death (mostly from heart disease).

Yep, and all those peeps that were pushing 2000+ IU a day of Vitamin D were depleting all of their magnesium
Interesting I was just hearing about the "calcification of your third eye" thought it was some foofoo bullshit but it's actually true, haha.
https://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/everything-you-wanted...
Calcification is the biggest problem for the pineal gland. Fluoride accumulates in the pineal gland more than any other organ and leads to the formation of phosphate crystals. As your pineal gland hardens due to the crystal production, less melatonin is produced and regulation of your wake-sleep cycle gets disturbed.
Research also reports fluoride hardening accelerates sexual development in children, particularly in girls.[2] And this is a serious problem as a study from 30 years ago reported 40% of American children under 17 were found to have pineal calcification in process.
(Could not verify that ^)
This happens with the fluoride they put in our water. So when you take magnesium it depletes your calcium and hopefully decalcifies your pineal gland?
I can verify the early increasein sexual development. Saw a 14yr old girl on the street today with massive hoochiemamas

Magnesium doesn’t deplete calcium it more so regulates it. Calcium that isn’t being shuttled into bones or used in muscle contraction precipitates into the blood and other places where is doesn’t necessarily belong.
I’m Interested in that info regarding accelerating sexual development. Not sure where I heard this but I believe puberty is happening a lot earlier in children nowadays, this may be why.
So then how do you prevent or reverse this calicification of the pineal gland?
So then how do you prevent or reverse this calicification of the pineal gland?
Get more magnesium intake and cut down on calcium! Avoid excessive caffeine, booze, and stress (obv that's not an issue for you). And if you're taking a vitamin D supp make sure its below 1500ish IU if you're getting at least 20 min of sun a day.
It's a super simple biochemistry (Mg is in 6/10 steps of the Krebs cycle) but it's been ignored over the years. It really is just about getting a bigger intake of Mg and avoiding things that zap away the nutrient in the body.
Stop lying the secret is in peanut butter. The ancient civilizations all used it just click to the link to my website and find out how to maximize your peanut butter intake oh and put in your email too i'll give you a free peanut butter sandwich.
Try our peanut butter and fluff special today! Makes chicks kegel on your dick!
Lolz!
Should we be taking these supplements all together? And what if we’re fasted taking them?
I’m currently taking:
Multivitamin (2x/Day - Morning n Night)
Magnesium - 400mg Morning
Fish Oil - 2 Capsules - Morning
Vit D - 1000IU - Morning

very little side affects with minimal vitamin over consumption(not saying you’re over consuming either)... minus maybe weird smelling piss. If you are outside you and taking ge 2x multi you are likely getting enough vitamin D tho.. and prob don’t need to supplement that one. I only do that in the winter months.
I do try and get blood work every 6 months or so just to see any deficiencies or what not, but if you combine the above with a good diet, you’re in a better spot than like 90% of Americans
