When Is Projecting Negativity a Viable Option?

Been struggling with using "negativity" as a way to showcase disapproval so that girls know when they're being unreasonable and bratty.
Didn't think much of it at first because I had successfully done it in the past multiple times. Recently however, I found that there's a huge level of depth with this skillset. Before, I'd been using it in cold approaches to tool and deflect cock blocks but recently, my gal pals have been displaying behavior "overtxt" that erks me a bit.
Having a hard time reconcilling because idk if it's my ego getting hurt and lashing out because of it or if I should actually step up and say something. Its harder to do with friends cause everything is always a lax chill vibe and nothing should be taken personal.

You cant always disapprove of behavior that's not in your favor. Understanding when to say "Oh, thats ok maybe next time" vs. calling a girl out.
When they're being "bitchy", obviously flaking you with stupid excuses while they post on social media, etc etc. That's easy to hit but there's more to it.
